Alias Domains - Multiple domains accessing the same website
New Domain Registration Problems

To sign up for a new account, go to http://www.zewebhost.com/ and click on the "Hosting Order Page" link. Complete your order till the "Sign Up" page. After you sign up, you will receive an email confirmation letting you know your sign up is being processed. At this time you will not yet be able to access any of the functions in the control panel.

Within 24 hours, you will receive a 2nd email confirming that your account is now fully active on the zeWEBHOST network. You are now be able to fully administer your account. It may take up to 48 hours for your domain to become fully active on the Internet. While you are waiting you can test your domain via it's temporary URL, http://yourdomain.zewebhost.com

Web Forwarding allows you to point your domain name to any pre-existing web address.

For instance, you can have the domain yourdomain.com be forwarded to http://www.yourotherdomain.com/news.
The domain name will redirect (change from yourdomain.com to yourotherdomain.com when the website loads)

Note:
If the domain name is currently aliased, the Web Forwarding request must be emailed to support@zewebhost.com.

A typical website has a single domain name that accesses a single website.

With domain aliases, you have the ability to add an unlimited number of domain names that will all access a single website. For example, if you have a hosting account with the domain yourdomainname.com and yourdomainalias.com was set up as an alias to yourdomainname.com; when either domain name was entered into a browser, they would both display the website for your primary domain name, yourdomainname.com.

Alias domains also take on the attributes for mail directed to your primary domain name. Any account created on the main domain exists on all of the domains aliased to it. For example, if you create an account named mailbox@yourdomainnname.com, any mail sent to mailbox@yourdomainalias.com would go to the account for the primary domain.

If you have recently registered a new domain name and are having problems viewing your web site in a browser, it may be that the registration has not yet fully completed. After a new domain is registered, it can take up to 48 hours for it to be fully active across the entire Internet. During this time, it is possible that your new domain can be viewed on one computer, but not yet on another.

While you are waiting for your domain to become fully active, you can use a temporary URL to access your website:

http://yourdomain.zewebhost.com
