A Static/Dedicated IP(Internet Protocol) is a unique Internet address dedicated exclusively to a single hosting account.
Normally, Websites (several hosting accounts) reside on a single server and share that server's IP address. Dedicated/Static IP addresses are usually used for large SSL-encrypted secure Web sites and particularly large and/or traffic-heavy sites. Most shared hosting users have no particular need for a dedicated/Static IP address.
However, a dedicated/Static IP address for your hosting account enables you to:

View your Web site via its IP address.

Access your account by FTP or the Web when the domain name is otherwise inaccessible, such as during domain name propagation periods.

Ensure faster response during periods of high traffic load.

Set up SSL protection on your Web site.

If you require a Static/Dedicated IP for your website, you must have Extreme Hosting Plan. A $3/month additional charge is also applied to your account.

Custom/branded Name Servers allow you to specify your own host address for your Name Servers, using a domain you host with us. Instead of using our true Name Servers, you are using the same servers but under your domain name. For example:
ns1.yourdomain.com
ns2.yourdomain.com
These host addresses, with a branded Name Server configuration, will resolve to the Name Server of your choice, masking the Name Servers returned by WHOIS and DNS queries with your domain name.

How to Configure Branded Name Servers with zeWEBHOST
The option for custom/branded Name Servers is to brand our Name Servers with your domain (ex: point ns1.yourdomain.com to our ns1.zewebhost.com).

- Branding our Name Servers with your domain is available for a monthly cost of $15. When requesting this configuration, please provide us with the Name Server host addresses you wish to use for both the primary and secondary Name Servers so we can configure DNS entries for you.

NOTE: If we are the registrar for the domain name you are branding with, we will need to add your Name Server addresses as valid Name Servers. If we are not the registrar for your domain name, you will need to request your current registrar to register your own/custom name servers by adding each of the Name Server addresses to their records before they will be recognized on the Internet as a valid Name Server.

SmarterStats Web Site Statistics is available on all zeWEBHOST shared web hosting plans. To begin taking advantage of SmarterStats, you will need to enable the service from your hosting control panel, as follows:

1. Login to your zeWEBHOST hosting control panel at http://www.zewebhost.com
2. Navigate to Web Site/Domain Management -> yourdomain.com -> Traffic Reports
3. Click on the 'Activate Traffic Reports' button to activate SmarterStats on the specified domain.
4. Your SmarterStats will load in a new window.

If popups are disallowed, you can click on the 'Click here to view your Traffic Reports' link in the hosting control panel.
Please note that full statistics may not be available for up to 1 hour after you activate.

SmarterStats Web Site Statistics are only accessible for viewing through your zeWEBHOST hosting control panel.
If you prefer access to raw log files, all visitors to your website are logged in daily log files located in the /logs/W3SVC* directory of your website. These logs can be downloaded using any FTP client. Website log files provide detailed information on every visitor to your website, including every page and image they viewed, and the length of time they were on your website.
